‘Eternity of Ving Tsun’ by producer/director Liong May-E and her team (full credit to all concerned at the end of the film) from ‘Hanxin College’ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Created in October/November of 2023 as part of Liong May-E & her team’s university assessment. The film was shot on location at the Kuala Lumpur training venue of ‘WSL Ving Tsun Combat Science (Malaysia)’ and features Principal Instructor, Sifu David Peterson and many of the students currently training at the school. It is posted here with the expressed permission of all concerned.

What’s Next For Springtime?

Unfortunately, the campaign for crowd funding this project has ended. While we were late to the party, if we were aware of the possibility to contribute to the release of this full-length feature, Wing Chun United would have whole-heartedly supported Wang’s endeavor. As filmmakers ourselves, we deeply value the impact that visual story telling has on the ability to successfully share the rich Chinese culture and traditions of gong fu.

In 1949 Pan Nam started teaching at the Union of Cake Industry Workers of Foshan. In 1956 he was introduced to Lai Hip Chai a classmate of Ng Chun So, Yip Man and Chan Yiu Men, who was the second to last student accepted by Chan Wah Shun (Yip Man being the last).
